We are currently in need of a caregiver/personal assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a minimum one year of prior experience working as a nurse and understands the importance of communicating effectively with patients, family members and members of the nursing team. The LPN will be responsible for conducting medical intervention, performing routine monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Administer emergency medical treatments and procedures commonly prescribed by a physician.
- Maintain the nursing environment.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating patients' progress and being aware of changes in the patients' conditions.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients under the nurse's care.
- Assist in maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Assist in maintaining orderly, pleasant surroundings.
- Interact with other members of the health care team.
- Can worrk with pets (dogs, cats)
- Can work with smoker clients
Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
